I have to admit, I didn’t see it coming!  This story surprised me.  Threw me for a six.  This story is a bit different from the others in the series in that you go on an adventure that takes you even further than the others.  I won’t say too much because I don’t want to spoil it, but trust me this one is a whole new journey into the unknown.   A real eye opener that makes you think about  what effects we may have in our environment.  When things go bad, they go REALLY bad.  Could this be more than Jack and his friends can handle this time?  If you think toads are gross now.  Wait til your read this book.

You know Hazard River is my favourite junior novel series.  I can’t say it enough, I love it! Make sure you get yours!

If you want to know more about any of the other Hazard River books buzz over to www.hazardriver.com or our very own Bug in a Book Author interview with Julie Fison.  Julie is available for book signings, interviews and blogs too.

To win a signed copy of Blood Money and Toads Revenge leave a comment below telling us where you would like to go on an adventure and which animal you would like to meet along the way.

Where will Jack Wilde find himself next? I can’t wait to find out!

He’ll go to Timbucktoo where he’d find a zoo and a dinosaur for sure because he loves the outdoors!

I’d like to go to Uluru and meet a crocodile or two but I wouldn’t smile at a crocidile because he might just eat me too!

I would love to go for an adventure into the Cherry Venture ship wreck on the shores of sunny Queensland. I would love to meet a friendly Dugong who can educate me about receding ocean grasses and how we can help to save them.

I would luuuuuurrve to go to the bowels of the Amazon and see some real piranha! Preferably nibbling on something, or someone, else =)

Egypt, the Nile and all that deserty fun stuff, I’d try and avoid the crocs although that’s already been said and I’d ride a camel, preferably one that could out run a croc.
Or I’d head for the Ffjords but I have no clue about animals isn’t it too cold there, maybe I could find some mutant kind of fish that thrives in the icy water and feeds on hapless tourists who think ice swimming is a great idea

Michaela – 8 would like to go to China and feed the Giant Panda’s as long as they don’t mistake her for bamboo which is scarily possible as she is so skinny
