This poor wombat can’t catch a break! All he wants to do is enjoy his day sleep in peace but that is not about to happen. The trouble starts with two curious curlews. Followed by three furtive frogmouths, four peaceful pigeons, and so on until there are noisy, busy, flappy, squarky birds all over the place. What is a wombat to do?
One Tired Wombat is a wonderfully Australian early numeracy story. The illustrations are full of character and beautifully capture our Aussie bird life. Delightful.
