Christopher Cheng and Lindsay Knight in association with Power house museum
This is a wonderful book for adults and children. It is filled with interesting facts pertaining to Australia, the pages are glossy and the format is laid out well. I never knew that Australia was the first place in the world to use plastic banknotes along with ‘how to keep a Wiltshire’ knife sharp’ did you?
The Beta check Blood Glucose Monitor is also an Australian invention. This book is really an achievement to all the wonderful, clever Australians out there and like my eleven year old son said ‘he didn’t know that an Australian invented spray on skin!’ throughout the book one is amazed at what we Australians have invented accompanied by interesting text it would also make a great resource for children with school projects.
The images throughout are glossy and spectacular and were supplied by powerhouse Museum
An excellent addition to the family home!
