Just another cook book? No! This is a beautiful book which could live on the coffee table or in the kitchen. There are interesting people (not just celebrity chefs) to read about, fabulous recipes to try and gorgeous food to look at.
How flattered the chefs must have been to be invited to be part of this publication. Only 30 from around the world and this provides the reader with a variety of cuisines and ingredients. A brief sketch is given of each chef, their backgrounds and the things that have influenced their style. They also provide three recipes they cook away from their restaurants. These include rice pudding, mushrooms on toast, chicken liver curry and and ….. they all look wonderful.
A good book to give as a gift if you can bring yourself to give it away and there are 30 good reasons why you would want to keep it.
